Health & Wellbeing

The pandemic and subsequent lockdown caused isolation and anxiety over financial challenges for everyone.

This was dealt with in different ways and to some extent, some people are still dealing with the effects of the isolation as it has affected mental health.

Looking at mental health in the workplace and our general health and wellbeing is a conversation that is worth having as people feel increasingly isolated and alone despite being out of lockdown.

A long term plan is needed to support colleagues who may be in need of support and the aim of the SPG is to offer this support through counselling, healthy conversation and providing a listening ear. This will help to identify mental health issues, stop it from developing and teach people how to evaluate their lives and build strength for mental health.

We have set up an email address where we would like to support members with any health and well being concerns.  You can ask questions, voice any concerns you have, seek help with any issues you may be facing.  All emails will be treated with the strictest of confidence and we will do our very best to support you in any way we can.

If so please feel free to email our confidential helpline email; askdorcas@spg.uk.com we will do our very best to support you in any way we can.
