Good afternoon all, glad to be a part of the SPG. I am applying for the TSB conveyancing panel, I satisfy the published criteria, they've done underwriting etc. They want details of my locum. I have provided this. However, my locum is a self-employed FCILEx and I have worked with her before - she used to be a partner in a solicitors practice local to me and my previous firm instructed her regularly and still do. TSB are saying that my locum needs to be employed by a firm already on their panel. I am at a loss as I thought the whole point of a locum was that they offered temporary relief/cover and by their very nature, would not therefore be employed. Has anyone else experienced this? How have you overcome it? Best wishes, MT
